Terms of Booking

At Akasha, we strive to offer flexibility and clarity in our booking process to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. Please review the following terms carefully before finalizing your reservation:

COVID-19 Credit Policy

  • For reservations made prior to 2020 and canceled due to lockdown laws during the COVID-19 pandemic:

    • Guests were provided with a 24-month credit to use their booking value.

    • In most cases, this credit period has been further extended beyond the original timeframe.

    • All COVID-19 credits will expire on 1 January 2025 and will no longer be valid for use after this date.

General Booking Policies

1. Non-Refundable with Flexible Dates

  • This policy requires 100% upfront payment at a discounted rate.

  • In exchange for the discount, the reservation is non-refundable.

  • Guests can transfer their reservation to another date with a minimum of 72 hours' notice before check-in.

  • We allow maximum 2 changes of dates for any reservation made directly on our website.

  • No-shows or cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice result in the forfeiture of the full booking amount.

2. Flexible & Guaranteed

  • Reservations under this policy allow for free cancellation up to 4 days before arrival.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

  • This deposit can be transferred to another booking within 12 months, provided sufficient notice is given.

  • Guests can request changes or cancellations by emailing book@akasharetreat.com or through their Pyn booking account.

Group Bookings & Events

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm and block dates for group bookings, with the balance payable in installments.

  • Full payment is required for bookings made less than 30 days before arrival.

  • Deposits for group bookings are non-refundable, but reservations may be rescheduled within 12 months.

Payment & Security

  1. Credit Card Information

    • Akasha does not store credit card details on our servers. All payments made through our website are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.

  2. Third-Party Booking Platforms

    • For bookings made through third-party platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb):

      • Guests must adhere to the terms and conditions of the respective platform.

      • Akasha takes no responsibility for disputes, errors, or refund policies governed by third-party booking platforms. Guests must verify and manage their payments directly through the respective platform.

  3. Payment Verification

    • All payments made via third-party platforms must be verified through those platforms before the booking is confirmed at Akasha.

  4. Tax and Service Charges

    • All prices listed are inclusive of applicable local taxes.

Additional Terms

  • Changes and Cancellations: All requests must be submitted in writing to book@akasharetreat.com. Guests may also manage bookings via their Pyn booking account.

  • Availability: All rebookings or rescheduled dates are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

  • Disputes: By making a reservation with Akasha, guests agree to the terms outlined here and acknowledge that all disputes will be handled in accordance with our policies.
